Today we are sharing with you our fourth vignette from our Willow Creek Farm styled shoot. The first three can be found here: Romantic Stable Reception, Silo Cocktail Hour, and Glamorous Sweetheart Table.
Our dessert table was a dream. We came up with the initial concepts of fresh parfaits, mousse, and cakes, and Sugar by Sarah took those ideas and just nailed it. Sarah created three cakes and four desserts for us. Each cake had its own personality with different icing designs and sizes; the parfait was set in champagne flutes, filled with strawberries, whipped cream, and pound cake; the mousse was made with perfectly ripe raspberries, giving it the most beautiful pink color; the heart-shaped Nutella and banana hand-pies were adorable; and finally, the passion fruit macarons. Sarah’s specialty lies in this beautiful French dessert, so when she offered to make some for this shoot, we were so excited! These desserts were all set up on ceramic cake plates atop a converted bench, which we then updated with peach chalk paint. To finish off the design, Flowers by Kristine nestled a few simple florals to accent the dessert table and the desserts themselves. Once the shoot was over, we tasted the desserts, and let us tell you, they are gorgeous to look at and even better to eat! All of these beautiful desserts were captured by Wright Photographs below.
